After seven years of commitment, dedication, and hard work at the Democracy Alliance, Gara LaMarche is stepping down as president. Gara has been working in human rights, social justice, and philanthropic organizations since 1976 and now plans to spend his time advising, counseling, teaching, and writing. He has been an invaluable contributor to the organization as not only a leader, but a thought partner, organizer, advisor, and friend to many of us.

Join us on June 16th at 6 PM ET to celebrate his contributions to the Democracy Alliance and the progressive movement and wish him farewell.
